Unfinished 1950s Totem Pole

This is a wonderful find. It's rare that we get a look at one of these in this state, before the paint goes on. And we see just what extraordinary sculpture some totems are. A very powerful piece exactly the way it is. Still waiting to be born, full of promise, already very alive.
